Get the most from Dipo

A few quick tips to avoid wasting AI calls and get useful, reusable output for your Digital Product Passport templates.

1. Be specific about the product and template

Tell Dipo which product and which template you’re working on. For example:

“Dipo, I’m editing the Carbon Footprint template
for our XP-200 rechargeable AA battery.
Suggest a short subheading and three bullet points explaining why
its emissions are lower than average.”

2. Ask for structured output you can paste

Instead of a long paragraph, ask Dipo to reply in a structure that matches your fields:

  • “Give me: Title, Subtitle, 3 bullet points, and a 1-sentence footer.”
  • “Return each metric as: Label, Value with unit, and a short explanation.”
  • “Use plain English, no marketing hype.”

3. Iterate instead of starting from scratch every time

Once Dipo gives you something close, paste it into the template and then ask for small improvements:

  • “Shorten this to 2 lines.”
  • “Make it more technical, less salesy.”
  • “Rewrite this bullet to focus on recyclability.”

4. Keep prompts reusable

When you find a good prompt for a template, save it. You can reuse the same pattern for future products to keep the style consistent and reduce trial-and-error.
